Lets go ‘Animal Crackers’ for Dog Show & Memorial Walk.
This year our Wymondham and Attleborough funeral homes have been working hard to raise awareness of their ‘Animal Crackers’ campaign which has covered a range of topics and offered advice for those who are bereaved and lonely, highlighting the health and wellbeing advantages of owning a pet, pet bereavement resources and keepsakes to helping to prepare for your pets future should it out live you and so we are organising a fun dog show and a memorial walk which welcomes anyone who is bereaved of a loving pet or a loved one to come along to, we hope in a fitting tribute to our four legged friends.
The event will take place during the national fundraising campaign ‘Wet Nose Animal Aid’ which is set to be the equivalent of Red Nose Day but instead of helping people, animals and local animal shelters across the UK are supported. We are hoping for a fun packed day for all the family and to raise vital funds for local animal charities Dogs Trust, P.A.C.T. and Feline Care Cat Rescue.
The ‘Paws for Thought’ and ‘Walk of Remembrance’ walks starts at 10.00 am and then its time for the dogs to strut their stuff as registration for the Dog Show opens at 11.00 am for judging to begin at 1.30pm. Registration costs £2.00 per class with the memorial walk free to all to attend. The event is being held on Sunday 1st October at Old Buckenham Country Park with plenty of parking available.
