Richard was born and educated in Diss and has been a well-known face in the town due to his time running the cycle shop W S Cobb with his brother Graham and managing The Tudor Bakehouse in Diss and Eye. Richard is married to Julie and they have two sons, Simon and Thomas. Richard is an avid sportsman and enjoys squash, watching football and fishing with his boys. He is a member of the Diss Salvation Army where he plays principal cornet in the band.

Simon and Anne live in Scole with their 3 children, Harriet, Thomas and Victoria-Rose. From Rosedale’s conception, Simon has been responsible for refurbishing each of the funeral homes to an extremely high standard, ensuring a homely and comfortable environment for families to make funeral arrangements, more recently he has taken over the role of digging and preparing graves. In his spare time, Simon is a keen chef and motorcycle enthusiast as well as training for his private pilots license.

Anne joined the funeral service from the age of 16 and is now one the most highly qualified funeral directors in the country. Anne is a qualified tutor for the Diploma in Funeral Directing exams and also works as a consultant for Colney Woodland Burial Park in Norwich. In her spare time she runs marathons and is trying to learn Russian to better communicate with Dasha who visits with the Children from Chernobyl and stays with Anne and Simon every summer.

Derrick was also born and educated in Diss. He is married to Sandra and they have three sons, Robert, Michael and Matthew and three grandchildren Katie, Scott and Alice. Derrick is an accomplished musician and was the Bandmaster of the Diss Salvation Army Band for many years.
