Local Business Flying High for their 10th Anniversary
Rosedale Funeral Home are this year celebrating their tenth anniversary as a family business in Wymondham by offering ten local people the chance of a free flight.
“We wanted to do something special and a little different to celebrate our anniversary in Wymondham and we came up with the idea of donating a free flight to ten special people in the community, one for every year we have been of serving local bereaved families” said Simon Beckett-Allen, Director of Rosedale Funeral Home. “We have donated flight vouchers at a number of fundraising events and they have always been tremendously received, often raising in excess of £200 each.
What we are looking for is for people to nominate someone who they think are a deserving person, a star local to Wymondham, perhaps someone who has supported others, a committed fundraiser or volunteer or just someone who deserves a reward or special treat.”
The flight itself will be an hour long and can take you anywhere in Norfolk and up to the Suffolk border. You can fly over your favourite place in Norfolk, out to the coast or stay close around Wymondham and the surrounding villages and possibly pick out your own home.
Simon will be the pilot and the airplane is a Cessna C 172H, leaving from Old Buckenham Airfield.
If you think there is someone who you would like to nominate as your star, please email Pippa at email@example.com and in no more than 50 words explain why you think your nominee deserves to be one of the lucky ten flyers. Nominations close on 15th June 2018 at midnight.
The winners of the flights will be announced on our website www.rosedalefuneralhome.co.uk and facebook page.
