Action for Happiness is a movement of people committed to building a happier and more caring society. They want to see a fundamentally different way of life – where people care less about what they can get just for themselves and more about the happiness of others.
They have produced many resources including a downloadable ‘Ten Keys to Happiness’ booklet containing advice and positive messages. This can be downloaded here.
Lucy Coote, Community Ambassador for Rosedale, comments:
“Action For Happiness are a fantastic organisation which can be especially useful during these uncertain times. I am pleased to be co-hosting a monthly Action for Happiness online gathering and have been blown away by some of the webinars Action for Happiness have produced. This YouTube video is one I feel may help those who have found lock down challenging and there are so many more for people to watch.”
The 10 Keys Groups offer Action for Happiness supporters the chance to meet up (online for now) to practice putting the 10 Keys to Happier Living into action. The groups are run on Zoom by volunteers (supported by Action for Happiness) and meet monthly to check in with each other, discuss the monthly theme and set personal actions to take forward. Each month they explore one of the 10 Keys to Happier Living – evidence-based ways to create a happier and more meaningful life.
10 Keys Groups are a great way to meet like-minded people locally, learn more about how to live a happy and meaningful life and find actions you can take to support yourself and others.
To join the group please fill in the online application form which can be found by clicking here.
