Funeral staff from Rosedale recently stepped out of their comfort zones and straight on to the catwalk in aid of a local charity in their latest fundraising event with resounding results.
Guests were welcomed with drinks and canapes before the sunset and the show began. The models outfits were provided by Dream On of Thorndon and Coe’s of Ipswich, with all profits from the sale of the clothes going towards The Blossom Charity, a charity which helps women make their lives work better by improving their confidence, building new skills or launching a new idea.
“The night was a huge success. Everyone had a fabulous time for a brilliant charity and I am pleased to say that those of us models who premiered our catwalk skills manged not to fall over and that there were no fashion faux pas!” said Funeral Bearer, Tony Moss – “I think the audience had just as good a time as the models did”.
The event was supported by generous local businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes to help raise a fabulous amount of £1000 in total.
Staff at Rosedale and The Blossom Charity would like to thank Greenacres Woodland Burial Park, Colney for supporting the event as well as Bridget McIntyre, founder of The Blossom Charity who compered the show.
