Cooking for One featured in BBC radio interview

Cooking for One
Rosedale Funeral Home’s Simon Beckett-Allen has been featured in the radio interview promoting the idea behind Cooking for One, a new book planned for next year. Simon told BBC Radio Suffolk’s Lesley Dolphin that the idea for the book stemmed from his experiences following the death of his sister Sarah in 2015.  Hear the interview in full below. Cooking for One will feature anecdotes, stories and recipes from people who have lost a loved one.  Submissions for inclusion in the book are invited now and anyone who has experience of losing a loved one is welcome to take part.  The publishers would particularly like to hear from anyone willing to share their experiences of bereavement as well as ideas for comforting and simple food. All profits from Cooking for One will be donated to a bereavement charity, which will be chosen shortly. For further information about Cooking for One and a link to the submission form, please visit the Cooking For One section of our site here.  There is also a printed form available for download on the website for anyone who would rather submit their story and recipe by post. We look forward to hearing from you.
