The pandemic has brought about a sudden and dramatic change for everyone. Loss and Grief has been experienced by all of us in one way or another. Normally a subject that can be taboo to many, our latest digital Creative Matters season Loss and Grief is aimed at helping people navigate the complex landscape of a bereavement through a number of creative approaches and practices.
For those less familiar with our Creative Matters seasons we aim to hold a series of activities that are designed to give our audiences a safe space to engage, participate, discuss or watch specific topics stimulating conversations and deeper understanding.
Throughout October we will be offering a series of digital activities exploring Loss and Grief including Creative Writing, Cooking for One interactive cook-a-long, The significance of your Digital Afterlife, A leading professionals webinar around navigating grief, A beautifully interwoven theatre piece interspersed with opportunities for informal discussion and much more…
“We have a long history of supporting our families through our Walks of Remembrance, Services of Remembrance and Bereavement Support Groups, so this seemed like a natural extension” Lucy Coote, Community Ambassador said, “There is such a wide variety of events on offer, from Cooking to creative writing that we hope that we can reach a greater number of people to support them on their own personal grief journey.”
