Dickleburgh Tree of Life Festival

tree of life

Staff from the Diss branch of Rosedale Funeral Home have contributed to the annual Dickleburgh Tree of Life Festival that took place over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th November.

The theme this year was ‘from seeds blown in the wind to driftwood on the seashore…‘ and Rosedale’s entry focussed on different memories made throughout a lifetime and included forget-me-not seed tags encouraging people to plant them in memory of their loved ones. There were also our ‘Lonely This Christmas’ booklets and information on our bereavement support groups and the Diss Service of Remembrance which will take place on the 8th December at 2.30pm.

There were a huge variety of creative and thoughtful trees, all raising money for good causes. Our entry was raising funds for Nelson’s Journey, a Norfolk based charity supporting bereaved children.
