TimeNorfolk are holding their annual Doorway of Hope vigil on 22nd October at 7.30pm for those who have been affected by baby loss whether by miscarriage, termination, still birth or in the first few months of life.
Lesley Bradfield, the founder of TimeNorfolk said:
‘The loss of a baby is like no other bereavement. There are no memories to treasure, only lost hopes and dreams. Often men and women who have experienced this kind of loss feel they haven’t had the opportunity to say goodbye, so TimeNorfolk, the pregnancy loss charity, and Norwich Cathedral have come together to provide the Doorway of Hope Vigil to remember little ones lost too soon.
It’s a beautiful time of reflection and hope for anyone who has lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or termination or during the early months of life – no matter how long ago.’
This year the vigil will be held in the Nave of Norwich Cathedral where there will also be an opportunity for those attending to light a candle and place a written message.
Tickets are now sold out, but the service is being live streamed through Time Norfolk’s Facebook page and will also be available on their website and on Youtube the next day. For more information, please contact TimeNorfolk on 01603 927487.
