Halesworth Quiz

Faith Ames, Funeral Arranger from Rosedale Funeral Home in Halesworth, has organised a quiz to fundraise for two local charities.

It’s going to take place at St. Mary’s Church Hall in Halesworth on Friday 20th September with doors opening at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start. There will also be a raffle with prizes donated by local people and businesses. There is a maximum of five people per team and children are welcome. Tickets are £5 each which includes nibbles and you can bring along your own drinks.

The event is raising money for two local charities, The Pear Tree Fund and Halesworth Area Community Transport (HACT). The Pear Tree Fund is a centre that is developing to offer support, information, counselling and finance and benefits advice to anyone who has been diagnosed with a life-changing illness within 15 miles of Halesworth. HACT is a non-profit making company which provides the 511 bus service in and around Halesworth which provides a direct link between Holton and Halesworth for essential services such as doctors, dentists, hospital and shops.
