Norfolk Walk of Remembrance

This year on Sunday 26th September our four Norfolk funeral homes at Attleborough, Diss, Harleston and Wymondham warmly invite families to join them for our annual Walk of Remembrance. Click here to view our poster for more details.

“The walk is an opportunity to remember a loved one whilst enjoying the beautiful scenery on what we hope will be a memorable day,” says Christian Fairbrother, Funeral Director at Rosedale Diss. “The walk offers a time of reflection as well as acts of remembrance and is a way for the staff at Rosedale to give something back to our families, and to let you know that you are never far from our thoughts as well as supporting those who are bereaved in our local community.”

There is a choice of 2 walks; the usual 3.5 mile route and the new 1.5 mile Beacon Trail, both beginning at 11am. All are welcome, including dogs on leads, and refreshments will be available. During each walk there is the opportunity to visit St Mary’s Church where a special ‘Book of Remembrance’ will be in placed in which a message can be written and there will be an opportunity to light a candle.
