Link To Hope Wrapping Party

Kerry Welch, Funeral Administrator from Rosedale Funeral Home in Diss has organised a ‘wrapping party’ on Wednesday 9th October to prepare the Link To Hope shoeboxes ready for their collection. It will take place at St Mary’s Church, Diss and people can drop in any time between 6.00pm and 8.00pm to help out with the wrapping and filling of the shoeboxes. Refreshments will also be provided.

Although not necessary in order to help out with the ‘wrapping party’, people are welcome to bring empty shoeboxes, wrapping paper or any of the items listed below:

gloves, scarves, hats, soap, flannels, toothbrushes, candles and holders, colouring pencils and pads, cards, wind-up torches, small toys, hot water bottles. A further list is available here.

This is the second year Rosedale Funeral Home has supported Link to Hope in their effort to give filled shoeboxes to families in the poorest regions of Eastern Europe. In 2018 40,000 family and elderly shoeboxes were given to those in need.
