Rosedale Funeral Home are celebrating across their funeral homes following the hard work and exam success of two of its staff members.
Kathryn Robinson, Funeral Administrator at Bungay and Pippa Hardie, assisting Funeral Administrator at Attleborough and Wymondham are the most recent members of Rosedale staff to have completed the National Association of Funeral Directors – Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration. This qualification covers all aspects of making funeral arrangements and personalising them to reflect the life of the person who has died, care of the decease, grief and bereavement, ‘green’ funerals and arranging funerals for children.
“I am delighted to have passed my Diploma and am so proud to join my colleagues in being qualified to assist our families at their time of need” says Kathryn of her success.
“It was hard going back to the classroom and having homework again after so many years but the support and guidance from our colleagues has been overwhelming. Although it was me in the exam room, it really has been a team effort” says Pippa. “I am just so pleased we both passed our written and oral exams on our first try, as I wouldn’t want to sit either again!”.
Both students were tutored and mentored by Anne Beckett-Allen, Director of Rosedale Funeral Home, who is one of the most highly qualified funeral directors in the country as well as being a registered tutor for the National Association of Funeral Directors.
“Staff training and development is something we take great pride in at Rosedale and it’s great that they have achieved this qualification,” said Anne.
