Rosedale Funeral Home, Diss, has won the prestigious Platinum Award in the Greener Globe Funeral Awards, the Environmental Standard for the Funeral Sector. The award was developed to guide and support funeral businesses to continually improve and review their impact on the environment, and show clients through genuine third-party certification that they care about leaving a positive legacy for future generations.
Kerry Welch, from the Diss branch of Rosedale, is passionate about improving and developing Rosedale’s environmental credentials, spearheaded the application and said:
We are really proud of this award. Rosedale has long been committed to a sustainable future, such as being able to advise on carbon neutral funerals and other environmentally friendly initiatives so to receive Platinum is a real testament to the work Rosedale has, and continues, to put in.
