Rosedale Funeral Home are proudly launching their Cooking For One recipe book at The Assembly House, Norwich, on Wednesday 15th September 2021.
Cooking For One aims to help people rediscover the joy of cooking after losing a loved one and baking after bereavement. Cooking For One will feature dishes which are ideal to prepare for solo diners who have recently lost a loved one.
Rosedale’s director Simon Beckett-Allen was inspired to create the book in memory of his late sister, who was a chef.
The proceeds of the book, which will be published in September, will support Cruse Bereavement Care, a charity supporting over 50,000 people each year dealing with grief.
The evening will start at 6.30pm and after welcome drinks and a brief introduction, Richard Hughes will present a cookery demonstration, followed by a two course dinner using recipes from the book, finished off with brownies and coffee.
There will also be the chance to win a fabulous hamper on the evening, and copies of the book will be on sale for a special price.
Tickets cost £30 and can be purchased through The Assembly House website by clicking here.
