The shoe box appeal which we have supported for many years is continuing this year and we at Rosedale are going to support it in whatever way we can. The shoe boxes we send may be the only gift that family gets this year. We are aware that doing a whole shoe box may be too much so we are appealing for specific items:
•Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
•Candles and holders
•Combs
•Small games like pack of card and dominoes etc
•A5 note pads or A5 colouring pads
•Safety Razors
•Shampoo (Max 300ml)
•Gloves
•Socks
•Bars of soap
•Sweets or chocolate (BB June 2021 EU Origin)
We have a dedicated team of knitters who have been working tirelessly this year and have supplied up with wonderful hats and scarves toys, all of which we know will be greatly appreciated. The other items are always gratefully received by all members of the family receiving the gift.
Before do call the branch of Rosedale before dropping off items. This is to ensure that we do not have people clashing with other families. In line with Government guidelines please do wear a face covering and be aware that if you enter the building we will need to take your name for track and trace purposes.
