National Thank You Day- 4th July

The UK’s first ever National Thank You Day will be taking place this Sunday 4th July 2021. The day is all about saying Thank You to those in our communities who have helped us, particularly during the pandemic. Over 16 million people across Britain will be taking part including schools, councils, celebrities as well as hundreds of organisations such as the NHS. You can read more about the day by clicking here.

We asked members of the Rosedale team who they would like to thank. See our answers below:

I would like to say a huge thank you to several people including Beverley, Sarah and Ryan for all their help with delivering Rosedale Training this year. We have delivered training to delegates all over the UK; from Scotland to Southend, Dundee to Dereham and have worked with a number of CCG’s. The training has been very well received. I also want to thank Chloe for her assistance with the Bereavement Support Groups. Grief can be very complicated and her thoughtful approach and caring nature has been very much appreciated by all those who have attended.

I’d like to say thank you to Wendy Aiken for beautiful images for the Rosedale Training website and Splice Creative for designing Cooking For One. I’d also like to thank my sister Rachel for always being there for me, as well as my brother Paul for painting the most amazing tortoise for the Hare and Tortoise trail in Eye. I would like to thank Workwear for their help in sourcing PPE, our frontline staff for continuing to care for our families, ministers for their prayers and support and people in the community that sent us cards of encouragement.

I would like to thank firstly Rachel – she is always there if I have any problems, need extra support and at the end of the phone if I just need a chat, regardless of her workload. Secondly is Anne – she has been so understanding in me being flexible round working with my son, especially around school. Without this, I’m not sure what I would have done. I feel honoured to work for such a caring company who look after their staff as well as the families. I would also like to thank everyone at Rosedale; working from home has been limited at times and isolated yet everyone has been so helpful when I have had queries or missing info that has made my life so much easier. I do feel like I only call people with problems and everyone must think, oh no what does she want now (even though they don’s say it) so I would like to say A BIG THANKYOU to everyone.

I would like to thank everyone at Rosedale for their support, guidance and kindness over my first 6 months in my job, particularly Rebekah and Claire. I feel lucky to be part of such an amazing team.

I would like to thank everyone (who were able) that carried on through the pandemic keeping everything going, from the Dr’s and nurses, cleaners, hospital porters, lorry drivers, shop workers, volunteers, my colleagues and everyone in between.
I would also like to thank everyone who does their small bit to be environmentally conscious and making small changes that will make a big difference.

I’d just like to thank all my lovely colleagues for their support during the last 18 months. I would not have been able to work as well as I do from home without your assistance and time, and I am forever grateful. I value and cherish every single supportive work friend and I hope I have been able to reciprocate accordingly whenever asked.
