Andy Cook has been employed as the Handy Man with Rosedale for two years. His role role is help maintain the overall appearance of the branches, carry out repairs and offering support to staff in any way that he can to improve the operational capacity and standards. On a day to day basis this may be painting, gardening or simply helping with branch deliveries.
Before Rosedale, he was a police officer for 26 years and, prior to that, served with The Royal Engineers. It was there that he gained advanced City & Guilds as a Painter together with general building skills. He enjoys the freedom and personal responsibility that this job offers, and flexibility to dictate his own work schedule between the branches.
Away from work he is a keen cyclist helping to run Hethersett & Wymondham Velo Club. He has completed many sportive and charity events such as London To Paris, whilst his holiday cycling adventures have taken him to India, Vietnam, Spain and Albania to mention a few.
