Pink Ladies take over the highways in tractors for National Cancer charity

Anne donned pink and joined over 150 ladies for the Pink Ladies Tractor Run, a local annual event which has raised over £400,000 for charity over 12 years.

“I have always wanted to take part in the run as I have heard so much about it from Liz Chapman our Bereavement Support Group facilitator here at Rosedale, who has participated in the event for a number of years. Driving a tractor is actually harder than it looks and a lot more physical but I have had a really great time, not even the terrible British weather could dampen our spirits as we rode out for Cancer Research UK Breast Cancer Appeal” says Anne. “A special thank you to Lucy Coote for decorating my tractor so brilliantly too and for helping me become a Pink Lady”.

The farming community kindly donates all sorts of tractors, large and small, for the annual charity event, which sees ladies take to the wheel and drive the 20 mile route through Harleston and its surrounding villages.
