Setting the standard for professionalism in Funeral Services

Mark Hall receives Tutor status from the National Association of Funeral Directors
Funeral Arranger Mark Hall has joined a handful of people in England who can deliver professional training for the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) by achieving approved Tutor status. Mark who runs Rosedale’s Funeral Home in Attleborough has more than five years’ experience in the funeral profession and already holds the NAFD Diploma in Funeral Directing and the NAFD Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training. “The training was very intensive and has qualified me to teach to a diploma level in all aspects of the funeral profession. I particularly enjoy teaching students how to personalise a funeral and make it unique, as well as how to guide families who are working with a limited budget, as there are many ways that we can help a bereaved family to access funding.” Director of Rosedale Funeral Home Anne Beckett-Allen who is also an approved tutor says, “We are delighted Mark has attained this goal. Having two approved tutors in Rosedale, when there are less than 20 in the entire United Kingdom is indicative of Rosedale leading the way in the provision of training in the profession. We believe that all Funeral Directors should place great emphasis on training staff so that they can set the bar of what good funeral directing services should look like. Everything we do at Rosedale is designed to improve the quality of care for the bereaved, not just within Rosedale, but all over the country.” Anyone keen to learn more about studying for the Diploma in Funeral Directing or to chat about a career in the funeral profession can talk to Mark or Anne on 01379 640810 or email them at [email protected]
