Bereavement Book of the Month – July | The Long Pale Corridor

Bereavement Book the long pale corridor

Each month we will be highlighting suggested reads for both adults and children.

Our recommendation for this month is The Long Pale Corridor: Contemporary Poems of Bereavement Edited by Judi Benson and Agneta Falk

Summary

Death can happen in an instant, but grief takes time and can be the greatest pain we shall ever have to bear, for which there is no anaesthetic. It is unknown territory which most people face with little or no preparation. This is not a book to read from cover to cover in one sitting, but rather to dip into and cherish when everyone else has seemingly forgotten.
